Membership

Kindergarten teachers working within the PACKTA boundaries ( including but not limited to Chelsea through Frankston, Mornington to Sorrento across to Flinders up to Hastings, Langwarrin and Carrun Downs) have the opportunity to join our exciting organisation.

For a small fee each member recieves:

• Current pre-schools and teachers list of all members with all their contact details.
• Opportunity to be part of a phone tree program
  
• Up to date Relief teachers and assistants list sent our regularly
• Access to the resource library
• Participation in regional teachers meetings
• Special members rates for professional development sessions

Mentor Program

One of the special opportunity that PACKTA offer that would not be available elsewhere, is an opportunity to be part of a mentor program.

Currently our program is undergoing an update.  This will better enable the PACKTA community to provide a worthwhile service.

Below is a list of Kinder Teachers and their phone numbers. They have generously offered to be the foundation group of our mentor program.

As many of us are well aware, it is easy - particularly for graduating teachers working in standalone services to become isolated. Therefore, we want to address this issue by creating the opportunity to ask a fellow professional for advice.

During the coming months this section of our website will be upgraded to reflect the direction that we (as the PACKTA community) would like the Mentor Program to take to best assist our upcoming members.
